Climate Analytics was formed in 2008 to help achieve a climate-safe, sustainable future for all. We deliver cutting-edge science analysis and support to accelerate climate action to limit warming below 1.5°C.

Climate Analytics Caribbean is based in Trinidad and Tobago and aims to significantly augment the scientifically informed, knowledge-based resources which Small Island Developing States (SIDS) and Least Developed Countries (LDCs) in the region required to effectively counter the effects of climate change.

Our work empowers countries, communities, and peoples on the frontlines of the climate crisis.

OUR WORK:

Climate Analytics Caribbean works to address the gap between regional advocacy on climate change at the global level and regional/domestic action in support of climate objectives, keeping the goals of the Paris Agreement central to our mission.

Some Recent Projects:

  • Re-Energise Caribbean (European Climate Foundation): Catalysing the clean energy transition in the Caribbean as part of the region’s role in achieving the Paris Agreement’s global goal of limiting warming to 1.5°C above pre-industrial levels.
The project aims to identify opportunities for clean energy adoption and encourage commitment to a sustainable future through a voluntary Clean Energy Transition Pledge.
  • IsLanD Advancement – Loss & Damage (Open Society Foundations): Raising awareness of how the global issue of loss and damage directly impacts Caribbean islands, significantly enhancing the knowledge pool on how climate change affects the region with extensive research and analysis, and potentially increasing access to the new Loss and Damage Fund and other finance by providing updated data.
