This paper shows that ambitious global greenhouse gas mitigation action in a transparent and effective international climate regime is of great importance to Least Developed Countries. Through such ambitious global mitigation, impacts and damage to LDCs can be limited, and financial and technological flows can be generated from developed to developing countries.
