    Nandini Das

    Nandini joined Climate Analytics in 2021 and is currently the Acting Deputy Director of the Australia and Pacific office. She also serves as a climate and energy economist. Nandini is involved in multiple projects that assess national climate targets and evaluate climate change mitigation commitments. Her primary focus is on South and Southeast Asia, where she explores transition opportunities and challenges for developing countries, emphasising a just transition.

    Before joining Climate Analytics, Nandini worked on energy transition, energy security, and energy efficiency within an interdisciplinary framework. She has numerous peer-reviewed publications and reports and contributed to the Sixth Assessment Report of the IPCC.

    Nandini holds undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in Economics from the University of Calcutta and a PhD from Jadavpur University, Kolkata, India.
