Our projects

Fossil gas has long been marketed as a “bridge fuel” on the way to a cleaner energy system – a less-polluting alternative to coal. But this is a dangerous fallacy promoted by vested interests. Our research shows gas needs to be phased out globally by 2045 for the world to meet its climate commitments.

Since 2013 we have been working in vulnerable countries to enhance the capacity of those organisations with the designated authority to coordinate with the Green Climate Fund and access climate finance.

The Global Mitigation Potential Atlas quantifies countries’ mitigation potential, with a view to inspire greater ambition to reduce emissions and implementation efforts, and identify optimal pathways towards 1.5°C

The Climate Governance Initiative for the Caribbean (CGIC) aims to support the development of governance structures to allow equitable and just national climate action to implement the Paris Agreement in Caribbean countries.

This project aims to equip representatives from African countries with the knowledge, skills and networks needed to develop and implement long-term low emission development strategies.

This project aims to support alignment of national climate policies in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia and Albania with EU regulations.
