Quante Lennart

Lennart joined Climate Analytics as a climate data analyst in September 2025. His work focuses on loss and damage assessments for Pacific island countries, as well as contributing to financial risk assessments for the the Network for Greening the Financial System.

Drawing on his interdisciplinary experience in scientific modelling and data analysis, his work aims to refine the representation of income inequality, sectoral economic activity, and potential interactions with the financial system.

Prior to joining Climate Analytics, Lennart obtained his PhD at the Potsdam-Institute for Climate Impact Research and the University of Potsdam. During his research, he investigated the heterogeneous impacts of extreme weather along supply chains. His research has been published in journals such as Nature Sustainability. 
He also holds a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from the University of Münster and a Master's degree in Financial and Insurance Mathematics from the University of Munich.
