In early 2022, the Australian federal government ran a series of “positive energy” advertisements promoting its climate change policies. 

Climate Analytics has looked at these ads and into whether the claims made by the government stack up, factually.  In most cases we have found these ads to be either misleading, a diversion, or missing the point. Some are simply wrong.

We have divided our analysis into different categories:

1.  Emissions reductions
2.  Renewable energy
3. Hydrogen
