Climate Science and Impacts, Climate Diplomacy

Vasu is a Research Assistant at Climate Analytics Caribbean where she conducts policy research and analysis with the climate science and diplomacy team on adaptation, loss and damage, climate justice and energy transition issues including climate risk and socioeconomic impacts, with a focus on Small Island Developing States (SIDS).
She also provides technical support to the Environmental Management Authority in Trinidad and Tobago for the operationalization of the Green Climate Fund portfolio through research, project design and development, and implementation of projects to allow policy integration and strategic alignment with the UNFCCC international frameworks.
Prior to joining the Climate Analytics team, Vasu held a number of roles, including project management, socio-economic assessments and technology implementation for climate change adaptation and policy development, analytical and technical reporting, climate science and energy communications, journalism, business analytics, and data science in the public, private and non-profit sectors.
