Liam Li is a Project Manager in the Climate Policy Team at Climate Analytics, based in Berlin, where he manages the implementation of the Climate Action Tracker (CAT) project.
With over five years experience in project management, fundraising, communications, and monitoring and evaluation, Liam has worked across various thematic areas including the 2030 Agenda and SDGs, trade for development, gender policy and programming, and inclusive policy design in peace and security.
Prior to joining Climate Analytics, Liam designed and facilitated a series of E-learning solutions for a global network of policy practitioners in sustainable development at the United Nations System Staff College (UNSSC) in Bonn. He also built expertise in gender-transformative and intersectional approaches in development cooperation during his tenure at the International Trade Centre (ITC)’s SheTrades Initiative, and most recently in his work with the German Development Agency (GIZ), where he advanced the concrete implementation of the German Feminist Development Policy.
Liam holds a Master of Arts in International Affairs from the Hertie School, Berlin, specialising in sustainable development and human rights, and a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations: Politics and History from Jacobs University, Bremen.
