Krystelle Thomas is a Junior Research Assistant in the Climate Diplomacy Team based in Berlin, where she supports the team’s work with Small Island Developing States (SIDS).
Before joining Climate Analytics, Krystelle worked across international climate policy, diplomacy, and sustainable development. Her previous experience includes work with the U.S. Mission to the United Nations and USAID, as well as work in carbon markets and carbon project sourcing, with a focus on Article 6 of the Paris Agreement and EU climate policy.
Krystelle holds a Master of International Affairs from the Hertie School, where she concentrated in Human Rights and Global Governance, with a focus on climate policy. Her research focused on international climate governance, climate finance, and low-carbon development in developing countries.
