Javier is a Project Finance Officer in the Global Operations Finance Team at Climate Analytics’ headquarters in Berlin. In his role, he works closely with the Climate Policy Team, providing financial management support across its project portfolio.
Before joining Climate Analytics, Javier worked in the Finance and Programme departments of Diakonie Katastrophenhilfe in Berlin, where he supported the administrative and financial management of humanitarian projects and regional offices across the Middle East and Sahel. There, he worked with core-funded projects as well as projects funded by the German Federal Foreign Office (GFFO), the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), and the Directorate-General for European Civil Protection and Humanitarian Aid Operations (DG ECHO).
Javier holds a Master of Science in International Business Management from the Berlin School of Economics and Law (HWR Berlin) and a Bachelor’s degree in Communications from Universidad de Lima.
