Irina Mezurnishvili

Irina is a Climate Policy Analyst in the Climate Policy Team based in Berlin. She works on the Climate Action Tracker, mostly on country analysis, assessing ambition and credibility of national climate targets, policies, and emissions pathways.

Before joining Climate Analytics, Irina worked across the public, private, and non-profit sectors on climate policy, economic development, governance, and private sector development. Her work on projects across Eastern Europe and the South Caucasus covered climate-resilient development, policy planning, and local climate action.

Irina holds a Master of Public Policy with a concentration in Climate and Energy Policy from the Hertie School in Berlin and a Master's degree in Economics from the International School of Economics at Tbilisi State University.
