    Dimitris Tsekeris is a Senior Climate Policy Analyst at Climate Analytics. He contributes to the team's work on developing 1.5°C compatible pathways, energy system transformation, fossil fuel phaseout strategies at international, national and sub-national level, and tracking and assessing climate action at these levels.

    Dimitris carries broad national and international experience in energy and climate in the private, public and CSO sectors. He has successfully led the Paris Agreement Scenarios (PAC 2.0) work at Climate Action Network Europe (CAN Europe), as an Energy Scenarios Project Manager. The results of this analysis help shape the EU's energy policy and inform the CSO positions.

    He was previously the coordinator of the European Community Power Coalition at Friends of the Earth Europe, addressing citizens’ participation in the energy transition. He has also led work in Just Transitions for coal regions at WWF Greece. He has also worked as a special advisor to the former Greek Minister of Energy and Environment, focusing on renewables, energy efficiency, energy communities and NECPs.

    Dimitris holds a MSc in Sustainable Energy from The Danish Technical University and a MEng in Mechanical Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens.
