Clare Waldmann is Head of Projects, and is responsible for oversight and management of Climate Analytics’ global project portfolio, spanning 80+ active projects across our science, policy, implementation strategies and diplomacy teams working across six regional offices. She works with project managers, team leads and operations staff to optimise project development and management processes, ensuring successful project delivery.
Previously, she worked as a Senior Project Manager and Team Coordinator in the Climate Policy Team. In addition to supporting team management, she managed the the successful implementation of the Climate Action Tracker and the 1.5° national pathway explorer, among other projects.
Prior to joining Climate Analytics, Clare worked for several years at s.Pro sustainable projects GmbH and the SUBMARINER Network for Blue Growth. There, she was in charge of the acquisition and implementation of transnational cooperation projects with a focus on EU funded activities to support Europe’s blue economy (e.g. EU Maritime Spatial Planning Platform (DG MARE) and Interreg projects).
Clare holds a Masters in Environmental Planning from the University of California, Berkeley and a B.A. in Environmental Studies and Geography from Middlebury College.
