
Raghuveer Vyas is a Policy Analyst in the Implementation Strategies Team, based in Berlin. His work focuses on supporting governments in developing and implementing national climate strategies and plans (such as NDCs, NAPs, LT-LEDS) and climate finance frameworks. He has extensive experience in climate governance, institutional capacity-building, and readiness processes for the Green Climate Fund, including entity accreditation and project preparation support.
Raghuveer’s work with Climate Analytics spans the Caribbean, Africa, and South Asia, where he has designed and delivered capacity-building programmes for both government stakeholders and non-state actors, including universities and civil society organisations, to strengthen local ownership of climate action. He also leads the development of policy research and knowledge products on climate policy planning and access to finance.
Originally from Kenya, he first joined Climate Analytics in 2019 as a Student Assistant in the Climate Policy Team in Berlin and has since contributed to projects across multiple offices and teams. He holds a Master’s degree in International and Development Studies (specialising in Environment and Sustainability) from the Geneva Graduate Institute, and a Bachelor’s degree in Global Liberal Studies (Politics, Rights and Development) from New York University.
