    Clare Waldmann is a Project Manager at Climate Analytics, coordinating projects and activities in the Climate Policy Team. She supports the successful implementation of the Climate Action Tracker, the NDC 1.5° Pathways project and the Climate Transparency Initiative. She has a strong background in project steering, communications, budgeting, progress monitoring as well as reporting.

    Prior to joining Climate Analytics, Clare worked for several years at s.Pro sustainable projects GmbH and the SUBMARINER Network for Blue Growth. There, she was in charge of the acquisition and implementation of transnational cooperation projects with a focus on EU funded activities to support Europe’s blue economy (e.g. EU Maritime Spatial Planning Platform (DG MARE) and Interreg projects). Clare relocated to Germany in 2014 as a Robert Bosch Foundation Fellow, where she worked on coastal and marine climate adaptation projects at Ecologic Institute and GIZ. Previously, she worked as a Project Manager for the California Ocean Protection Council, managing a multi-beneficiary marine science research grant portfolio designed to inform the state’s marine conservation policies.

    Clare holds a Masters in Environmental Planning from the University of California, Berkeley and a B.A. in Environmental Studies and Geography from Middlebury College.
