Kai Kornhuber

Kai is a Climate Scientist as part of Climate Analytics’ Climate Science Team. He investigates the co-occurrence of extreme weather events over breadbasket regions under different warming scenarios.

Before joining Climate Analytics, he handed in his dissertation on atmospheric drivers of extreme climatic events which he wrote at the Department of Earth System Analysis of the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research (PIK). In this capacity, he attended extended research stays at the University of Melbourne and the University of Oxford. Kai holds a diploma in Physics from Freie Universität Berlin.
