Winnie works as an Adaptation Strategies Analyst at Climate Analytics. Her work within the science team includes policy analysis and stakeholder mapping under the Down 2 Earth project.
She has experience in climate change, sustainable development, natural resource management, environmental law and policy, youth, gender and persons with disability issues as well as science, technology and innovation. She is interested in climate and environmental law and policy, water and biodiversity issues.
Before joining Climate Analytics, Winnie worked as a Research Fellow at the African Centre for Technology Studies (ACTS). Her work there focused on climate and environmental policy and science, technology and innovation.
She holds a Master’s degree in Environmental Law from the University of Nottingham and a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Studies from Kenyatta University.
