Tessa maintains our main social and digital channels (website, social media, newsletter) among other editorial and publications tasks. She is based in our Berlin office.
Prior to joining Climate Analytics, Tessa worked for New Zealand's Parliamentary Commissioner for the Environment where she managed the organisation's external communication channels (media, social media, website). She also took care of accountability reporting documents. Before this, Tessa worked for the New Zealand Science Media Centre where she helped journalists cover science, environment, health and tech stories by finding experts in relevant areas, distributing materials that teased out expert opinions on science in the news. In this role she also worked with scientists to encourage more to engage with media.
Tessa holds a Master of Chemistry from the University of Melbourne and Bachelor of Chemistry with a minor in Forensic Science from Victoria University of Wellington.
