Sarah Heck is a Climate Policy Analyst in the Climate Policy Team, based in Berlin. Sarah works on the Climate Action Tracker project with a focus on assessing national and sectoral climate change targets and policies.
Prior to joining Climate Analytics, Sarah worked at the Institute for Global Environmental Strategies (IGES) in Thailand where she supported the development of assessment reports of Southeast Asian countries’ environmental compliance and enforcement.
Sarah holds a MA in Global Studies from Humboldt University of Berlin. Her Master thesis examined transboundary marine conservation governance in the Coral Triangle with a focus on Indonesia. She holds a BA in International Studies and a BA in French from the University of Washington in Seattle, USA. She is a native English speaker and is fluent in French and German.
