Sajid Ali works supports the maintenance and upgrading our open source tools, as well as answering requests from their users. In addition he will be contributing to the development of new tools, including the Climate Risk Dashboard.
Before working with us, he completed a six month work/internship at the German Geoforschungszentrum (GFZ), where he worked on cloud computing services. He has also worked in risk reduction in Northern Pakistan where he conducted geospatial analysis and mapping, and contributed to the development of risk reduction strategies for glacial lake flooding.
Sajid is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Remote Sensing, Geoinformation and Visualisation (RSIV) from University of Potsdam. He did his Bachelor’s degree in Geology at Karakoram International University, Gilgit, Pakistan.
