Paolo Cozzi

Paolo Cozzi is a Senior Implementation Specialist and Lead on Climate Finance Access with a decade of experience in climate and energy policy. Working with Climate Analytics’ New York Office, Paolo is focused primarily on supporting developing countries in projects and strategies to implement their mitigation and adaptation priorities.

Prior to Climate Analytics, Paolo was a policy analyst at the Center for Clean Air Policy, where he supported developing countries in Latin America and Asia in the development of Nationally Appropriate Mitigation Actions (NAMAs) and Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs), engaged in the United Nations climate negotiations process, and conducted research and analysis on international climate policy and finance. He has also held positions at the Center for International Environment and Resource Policy at Tufts University, the US Department of Energy, and the Alliance for Climate Protection.

Paolo holds a master’s degree in international relations, focused on environmental policy, from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University. His bachelor’s degree is in International Studies from Vassar College.
