Jean David is a statistician working as a Research Analyst in our Africa team. He is responsible for climate vulnerability and risk analysis and capacity building for stakeholders in the context of adaptation preparedness and climate finance research in African Least Developed Countries (LDCs).
He has significant experience in conducting sectoral consultations and capacity building for government and civil society actors on issues of vulnerability, impact, adaptation and climate change adaptation finance. He has a thorough understanding of the National Adaptation Plans, Nationally Determined Contributions and Long-term Low Emissions and Development Strategies processes in the context of West African LDCs.
Before joining Climate Analytics, Jean David was a junior statistician consultant at the Centre de coopération internationale en recherche agronomique pour le développement (CIRAD) in Ouagadougou, where he was in charge of data collection and analysis on food security in Burkina Faso.
He has a Master’s degree in Applied Statistics and various professional certificates in the field of environment and climate.
