Brenda Mwale

Brenda Mwale is based in Malawi and supports the Malawi Chairpersonship as a Climate Diplomacy Advisor with Climate Analytics.

Brenda has served as a negotiator for Malawi on Loss and Damage, and is a core member of the Loss and Damage Collaboration. Her work has spanned policy advocacy, community engagement, partnerships, and intergovernmental processes. She is also an active member of the Loss and Damage Youth Coalition. Earlier in her career, Brenda worked with the Green Girls Platform in 2018 as a Programs Coordinator and later as a Chief Operations Officer in 2023.

Brenda is currently a Masters student in Climate Change and Sustainable Development at Lilongwe University of Agriculture and Natural Resources.
