Alexandre is a Climate Policy Analyst in our Implementation Strategies Team. He specialises in the analysis of climate and vulnerability data and has 10+ years’ experience designing, implementing, and evaluating climate change adaptation projects in least Developed Countries (LDCs). He first joined Climate Analytics as the PAS-PNA+ in-country coordinator for Benin.
Alexandre has a PhD in Economics (specialised in health economics and econometrics) through the Collaborative PhD Program (CPP) of the African Economic Research Consortium (AERC) at the University of Abomey-Calavi (UAC) in Benin. He has taught economics and related fields at the University of Abomey-Calavi (Benin) and private universities for 10 years and consulted for Germany’s development agency GIZ in collaboration with Climate Analytics as a health economist on an adaptation projects in Benin. He has also been involved in research investigating financial products’ contribution to reducing poverty and vulnerability in Benin.
