Jean-David works on science-based national adaptation planning in Burkina Faso under the project PAS-PNA.
He is currently enrolled as a master student in applied mathematics (statistical and numerical engineering) at the University of Ouagadougou in Burkina Faso. He also holds a first degree in applied mathematics – Statistics and Information science – from the Université Nazi Boni (ex Université Polytechnique de Bobo-Dioulasso).
Over the last three years, Jean-David has worked as an assistant data analyst at Orange Burkina and SOFITEX, and as a junior researcher at CIRAD and the Institut Supérieur des Sciences de la Population (ISSP). He has an impressive knowledge of statistical methods and software (SPSS, R, STATA, Minitab, Eviews, Matlab) as well as developing/programming/database management tools such as Oracle, MySQL, NetBeans, Visual Studio and Qt.
