Arunima Sircar

Arunima is a Junior Implementation Strategist based in the New York office. She works with the Implementation Strategies Team and supports other cross-team engagement activities.

Arunima is a recent graduate from the Yale School of the Environment, where she obtained her Masters in Environmental Science, focusing on climate justice within international climate policy and diplomacy, and climate change communication. While in graduate school, she worked for the Yale Program on Climate Change Communication in developing a tool to analyse and align climate opinion data with climate action plans in India. She also interned at the Center for Climate and Energy Solutions, focusing on the global plastics regime, global goal on adaptation, and followed loss and damage at COP26.

Arunima graduated from the University of Oxford with a BA in Geography with a focus on climate science and modelling, and helped develop and grow the Oxford School on Climate Change.
