René is a Research Analyst supporting the implementation of the IKI China NDC-Adaptation project and contributing to broader research in the field of adaptation policy and monitoring and evaluation.
Before joining the Climate Analytics team, René worked at a green start-up in Hamburg and a planning office for wind energy in Hanover, Germany.
René holds a Master’s degree in Geography from the University of Hamburg, focusing on global transformations and environmental change. His thesis investigated the effects of lithium extraction on environment and society in Bolivia.
