    Benjamin Komna Djabare

    Benjamin is a climate finance and policy analyst in the Implementation Strategies team. He is also the Deputy Director, of the Climate Analytics Africa Office, based in Lomé, Togo. He specialises in climate finance mechanisms, including the Green Climate Fund, the Adaptation Fund, and the Global Environment Facility (GCF). He has worked on Nationally Determined Contribution (NDC) implementation plans, including sectoral roadmaps in Benin, and also represents Climate Analytics in Togo’s technical support committee for GCF projects and provides support for the revision of Togo’s NDC.

    Benjamin has solid experience in engaging national actors, building technical and institutional capacity in climate finance, climate governance and mobilising climate resources. He has led a capacity building mission to Tunisia on Climate Governance, and to Senegal on support the development of an operational system for monitoring and accounting climate finance flows. He currently coordinates the Long Term Strategy (LTS) preparation mission of Côte d’Ivoire and PAF activities in Benin and Burkina-Faso under the NDC Partnership, which aims to strengthen the implementation of the NDCs and to translate selected options into projects to mobilise resources.
