Benjamin Komna Djabare

Benjamin Komna Djabare is a Junior Policy Analyst on the Implementation Strategies team, working primarily under the WP4 of the IMPACT project. He has a background in environment, climate change, policy and governance with two master’s degrees in environmental management from Lomé University and in sustainable development policy and planning from the Institute for Research and Training in Sustainable Development (IFORDD), a West Africa regional university in Lomé.

Before joining Climate Analytics, Benjamin was leading climate finance, environmental sustainability and climate change work at the Global Lead consulting firm, where he was in charge of leading the GCF accreditation process of the West African Development Bank (BOAD), the development of concept notes and full project proposals submitted to and approved by climate funds including the GCF, the GEF and the Adaptation Fund in areas of agriculture, energy, water, forestry and waste. He has experience conducting environmental impact assessments, environmental and social safeguard development, technico-economic and financial feasibility of projects, and the use of tools to evaluate GHG emission reduction and resilience/adaptation in agricultural projects. His work experience covers activities in Benin, Burkina Faso, Niger, Mali, Togo and Guinea Bisau.
