Climate Science and Impacts

Tessa Möller works as Student Assistant in the Science Team at Climate Analytics’ Berlin Office. She supports the team with quantitative and qualitative data analysis with a focus on water security and adaptation. She also has supported the Science-based national adaptation planning in Sub-Saharan Africa project (PAS-PNA).

Tessa is currently enrolled in the Climate, Earth, Water, Sustainability (CLEWS) Master at the University of Potsdam. She holds a Bachelor in Geological Sciences from the Free University of Berlin.

It has been clear for years that science underestimates the scope of increasing extremes, as climate models perform better for the mean. An immediate question follows: how can we prepare?
