
Burcu is part of the Stakeholder Engagement Team in CA’s Berlin office. She is a member of the science team, for the stakeholder engagement activities of the Forest Navigator, RESCUE and PROVIDE projects. She works on stakeholder mapping and engagement; design, coordination and organisation of international workshops; conducting user testing sessions for some of Climate Analytics’s web tools (e.g. Climate Impact Explorer) as well as background research on climate services, climate impacts and land use, land cover and forestry.
Burcu worked as a student assistant in the science team while she was enrolled in the Integrated Natural Resources Management (INRM) Master’s programme at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin between 2019 and 2022. She holds a second MSc in Global Environmental Politics and Society from the University of Edinburgh, and a BSc in Political Science and International Relations from Bogazici University in Istanbul.
Before joining Climate Analytics, she worked for the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) in Turkey as Corporate Partnerships and Fundraising Officer.
