The Cancun Agreements have not delivered the ambition needed for a 2°C, let alone 1.5°C pathway. The Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research, Climate Analytics and Ecofys analyse the Cancun pledges, impacts of new developments during and after the workshops in Bangkok and look towards evaluating climate actions and their impact on emissions and the climate.
