A 10-point agenda for higher mitigation ambition

National climate policies are still far from being in line with the Paris Agreement, which makes it necessary that governments need to step up their emission reduction efforts. Climate Analytics’ experts are at the Global NDC Conference taking place 11-14 June in Berlin, participating in discussions about how we can increase the pace and scale of change to bring the Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs) in line with the Paris Agreement.

The Global NDC Conference 2019 contributes to the implementation and updating of Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs) in 2019. It aims to inspire and enable policy makers and practitioners to accelerate the pace and scale of transformational change via NDC implementation in order to reach the long-term goals of the Paris Agreement.

To contribute to the discussion, together with NewClimate Institute and TNO, we outlined ten hands-on points on how governments can raise their mitigation ambition.
