Job description
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic Student Assistant for our Project Development Team in Berlin. In this role you will be part of a small, friendly and dynamic team, working across the organisation to
- further Climate Analytics’ (CA) mission and vision,
- support the growth of the organization,
- safeguard and grow our partnerships.
From the worrying investment in gas and fossil fuels as a result of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, to tracking countries’ climate action, to showcasing the latest science on loss and damage – our work makes an impact, and the project development team has a critical part to play.
Your Responsibilities
- Support the development of high-quality proposals to international institutional funders and foundations
- Contribute to knowledge management within the team
- Research and publish new funding opportunities and networking opportunities within CA globally
- Support the team’s everyday tasks, such as meeting coordination, data collection and processing or the managerial side of a proposal development
- Support the introduction of a CRM system
- Contribute to the development of company-wide policies
- Lead your own field of responsibility in alignment with your interests and strengths
Your profile
- Interest and willingness to learn about the climate change sector – if no prior experience – is essential
- Strong attention to detail and a systematic approach to handling tasks and meeting deadlines
- Experience with contributing to and reviewing funding proposals (incl. budgets) to an international funder base is desirable
- Excellent writing and editing skills
- Fluency in English and any other languages are a plus – mainly French and German
- Sound experience with MS Office
- Experience with Customer Relationship Management systems and/or data management is desirable
