Sophie Schendel

Sophie Schendel is Head of HR at Climate Analytics. She is responsible for people management across the organisation, leading the Human Resources Team in Berlin.

Before joining Climate Analytics, Sophie worked for a large European hotel chain as HR Business Partner DACH, where she advised on international labour law and social security issues as well as on interpersonal communication within teams and staff. She started her career in journalism as Political Researcher for the BBC in London and later worked for a political talk show in Berlin.

Sophie has a Masters equivalent degree in Media Studies and a Bachelor’s equivalent degree in Urban Planning, both obtained at the Technical University of Berlin.
