Sally Knowles

Sally is Project Manager and Project Developer for a portfolio of projects within the Climate Analytics Australia Office.

Prior to joining Climate Analytics, she facilitated over a hundred specialised writing retreats for research teams and creative writers in Australian universities and research institutes to encourage communities of peers and mutually-supportive writing cultures.

Sally has an academic background in Sociology, Linguistics, Arts/Humanities (postcolonial Francophone literature) and Social Sciences and holds a PhD from Murdoch University, Western Australia. Sally’s doctoral thesis research was in the field of higher education, in particular the socio-cultural practice of doctoral supervision where she explored questions of identity, power relations and the socialisation of emerging scholars.
