Prudence Houedegnon joined Climate Analytics in December 2020 as Research Assistant. His works support the PAS PNA II Project in Benin. He has expertise in climate policy, planning and finance.
Prior to joining Climate Analytics, he spent nearly two years in research and policy implementation on the health impact of climate change as part of his Master’s thesis and assisted with modelling case studies at UNEP-Tongji Institute of Environment for Sustainable Development (IESD) in China. Other research and policy analysis positions in private, universities and NGOs gather his portfolio. From 2016 to 2018, he worked as a project officer for several GIZ funding projects in sustainable land management and climate change adaptation policy at the National Institute of Agricultural Research of Benin and the University of Parakou, Benin.
Prudence holds a Postgraduate degree in Environmental Science from Tongji University, China and an undergraduate degree in Agronomy Science from the University of Parakou, Benin. Further, he is a certified expert in Green Cities Planning by the UN bodies (UNEP and UN-HABITAT) and also, in Environment Impact Assessment (EIA) and Monitoring by IAEA.
