Charlotte Plinke

Charlotte joined the Science Team of Climate Analytics in 2020 as a research analyst focusing on the economics of climate change. She works on the distributional impacts of climate extremes within the SLICE project.

Prior to joining Climate Analytics, she worked with the Mercator Research Institute on Global Commons and Climate Change in Berlin and the Climate and Energy College in Melbourne on the socioeconomic impacts of phasing out coal in Germany and Australia.

Charlotte holds a master’s degree in Environmental Economics and Climate Change from the London School of Economics and Political Science, a master’s degree in Statistics and Econometrics from Toulouse School of Economics and a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Humboldt University of Berlin.
