Celeste Gonzalez

Celeste joined Climate Analytics in 2022 as a Climate Policy Analyst. Her work includes contributing to country policies analysis for the 1.5°C National Pathway Explorer and contributing to the Climate Action Tracker focusing on Latin American countries.

Before joining Climate Analytics, Celeste worked as a coordinator for the national GHG inventory of Paraguay with the Ministry of Environment and the United Nations Development Programme. She has also supported and advised on topics related to transparency negotiations, climate policies, and project development. Celeste holds an Environmental Engineering degree from the National University of Asuncion, and a master in Environmental management with a major in Sustainable Development from the University of Queensland.
