Pending final approval from funders, we are currently looking for two student assistants (60h/month) to support our Stakeholder Engagement Team in the ISIpedia project. The project aims at co-developing climate impact indicators with stakeholders and integrating their needs into the upcoming simulation protocol of the Inter-Sectoral Impact Model Intercomparison project ISIMIP. Student assistants support the Stakeholder Engagement Team in the organisation of national and international workshops (five in total), conducting background research on climate impact data provision, updating contact databases and other administrative matters. The position provides first-hand insights into the science-policy interface and state-of-the-art climate impact modelling. The position is based in Berlin, Germany.
Successful applicants will ideally have the following qualifications and skills:
- Excellent English writing and verbal skills are a requirement; good French and basic German skills are welcome, but not required
- Strong communication and intercultural skills
- Strong organisational skills
- Interest in applied climate impact research
