Climate Analytics is a non-profit organisation, established in 2008. We are based in Berlin with offices in New York and Lomé, Togo with staff and associates across Europe, South America, Australia, Africa and Asia. Our main mission is to synthesise and advance scientific knowledge in the area of climate change. We are a team of scientists, policy analysts, legal experts and economists with long experience in the international climate change debate. The team is backed by its own and co-developed science-based models to assess and synthesise climate science. By linking scientific and policy analysis, we provide state-of-the-art solutions to global and national climate change policy challenges.
In the lead up to the adoption of the Paris Agreement, we have supported several Small Island Developing States (SIDS) and Least Developed Countries (LDCs) in the development of their INDCs. Since its entry into force, we have been increasing our work in the field of implementation of climate action, policy development, adaptation and mitigation strategic planning, climate finance readiness and scientific capacity building.
Climate Analytics already operates in various regions, mostly but not limited to SIDS and LDCs: the Caribbean and Latin America, the Pacific and Indian Ocean, Asia, and North, Central and West Africa. Our offices work with networks of local and international experts.
We are now looking to expand our network of expert associates across regions and diverse sectors.
