Luis Zamarioli is a PhD researcher for the MAGIC project, a Horizon2020 consortium aimed at analysing the Nexus between climate, water, food, energy and land from a complexity approach. Luis has a background in environmental law & policy and has worked in the implementation of an ODA capacity building project in low carbon technologies in Brazil. He also represented the British government in all matters related to environment, climate, clean energy and agriculture at the Organisation for the Economic Co-Operation and Development (OECD) and the International Energy Agency (IEA) in Paris.
He holds an M.Phil. in Environmental Policy from the University of Cambridge and an LL.B. from the University of Sao Paulo, Brazil.
