Jasmin Cantzler is leading the Climate Action Tracker project on the Climate Analytics’ side. The main focus of her work is the evaluation and quantification of current policies, pledges, targets and NDCs in order to analyse their impact on national and global emissions trajectories and global temperature increase. She contributed to the UNEP Emissions Gap Report in 2017. Other areas of her work include analysis and tracking of sectorial decarbonisation trends against Paris Agreement compatible benchmarks. During the UNFCCC negotiation sessions she forms part of the team providing real-time scientific support to SIDS and LDCs.
Prior to joining Climate Analytics, Jasmin worked in a range of analytical roles in both private and public sectors, including PricewaterhouseCoopers and the German development agency GIZ. She holds a Masters in Public Policy, specialising in Policy Analysis, from the Hertie School of Governance in Berlin.
