Janne is Project Assistant for the PAS-PNA project in Bénin. Her tasks extend from information and data management, analysing scientific information to project related communication.
In 2016, she completed her master’s degree in Sociology at the University of Ghent. She specialised in Comparative Health sciences, using both qualitative and quantitative methods. In order to gain on-the-ground experience, she travelled to both India and Bénin and worked with organisations engaged in humanitarian issues and communications.
Janne is currently based in Cotonou, Bénin. She combines her job as a Project Assistant for Climate Analytics with her work for Griot, a communication agency that specialises in communication for development (C4D) aiming to create a targeted and profound impact. Janne brings with her a deep understanding of the local culture, the Beninese development sector and a special interest in social problems caused by climate change.
