Gilbert Balo is the LDC assistant at Climate Analytics and is based in Togo. He holds a Masters degree in Mathematics from the University of Lome and a diploma in Statistics, Economics and Engineering from the National School of Statistics and Applied Economy in Abidjan, Ivory Coast. In addition, he has attended online courses Negotiating Climate Change: from Durban and Beyond and Adaptation, Loss and Damage: from Cancun and Beyond offered by United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR).
Before joining the Climate Analytics team, he was a research assistant with the association Actions in Favor of Humans and Nature (AFHON) in Lome, working on vulnerability assessments and adaptation projects.
Gilbert is also in charge of delivering statistics practicals at the University of Lome.
