    Emily Theokritoff

    Emily is a research analyst at Climate Analytics. Her work revolves around climate change impacts, adaptation, constraints, limits and loss and damage. The interlinkages between science and policy in vulnerable regions, especially the Caribbean and Sub-Saharan Africa, have been at the heart of her research. Her work has been utilised in numerous forums including the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change and in climate litigation cases.

    Currently, she is working on the implications of overshooting the 1.5°C temperature limit for long-term adaptation planning, as part of the Horizon Europe funded PROVIDE project.

    Emily holds a PhD in Geography from the Humboldt University of Berlin (Germany) and Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering and Sustainable Infrastructure from the KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm (Sweden).
